HopscotchED aims to connect families, educators and allied health professionals to create successful intervention strategies and programs for children.

Services include:

• "Ask an OT/Educator" 30 minute Phone or Telehealth consultations
• In clinic individual Occupational Therapy sessions and Learning Intervention programs delivered in consultation with class teachers (aligned with school terms).
• Academic assessments and reports for primary and secondary school aged children (including maths, literacy skills and handwriting)
• Disability Inclusion Planning and advice, including Individualised Learning Plans (ILPs) and assessment reports.
• School readiness consultation, early learning developmental screening and assessments
• Learning behaviour support, advice and resources
• Creation of personalised home learning resources for parents and carers
• Advocacy service including attending Program Support Group/ Individualised Learning Plan meetings
• Referral and 'Triage' service - reviewing developmental and academic progress and determining if additional support by allied health professionals is necessary (eg. speech pathologist).
• Teacher mentoring
• Professional development seminars for educators 
• Team support for inclusion planning
• Advocacy support for early childhood funding, school based funding, learning plans, support plans, (ILPS).

Rebecca is an experienced Special Education teacher and Occupational Therapist with a diverse career in mainstream and specialist settings around Australia. For over twenty years, Rebecca has been dedicated to improving engagement and achievement by collaborating with students, parents, carers, allied health professionals and educators. Rebecca’s expertise extends to a full range of sensory, physical and cognitive abilities from early childhood intervention through to primary and secondary students. 

Rebecca works with parents and educators to provide assessment and programming support for children. Rebecca integrates multi-sensory learning, assistive technologies, and metacognitive principles into her programs. Rebecca also has experience supporting families experiencing impacts from chronic health conditions, Illness, Developmental Hip Dysplasia (DDH), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions. She is passionate about improving educational outcomes and working closely with schools to enhance capabilities to cater for a diverse range of learners.

• Parent Coaching: For parents who want to understand what’s really driving their child’s behaviour and feel more steady in how they respond. Together, we make sense of your child’s needs, your own nervous system and build simple, practical ways to support your whole family.
• Workshops: Practical, sensory-informed professional learning for early childhood educators.

Angela is an experienced Occupational Therapist offering specialised services to families.

Angela’s unique approach is grounded in connection—supporting families to better understand sensory and emotional cues while building strong, secure parent-child relationships. Angela brings both professional expertise and personal insight as a parent to every family she supports. Specialising in sensory, relational and trauma-informed support within early childhood intervention. Sessions are collaborative and relationship-focused - supporting children and their caregivers together through assessment, structured parent–child sessions and parent coaching.

Nicole from OccuPLAYtion Station provides play-based Occupational Therapy sessions in clinic on Wednesdays, with outreach available to early learning centres. Supporting children up to 12 years, Nicole uses a neuro-informed approach, incorporating each child’s interests to support participation and development.

Supports include:

• Child Centered Play Therapy.
• Sensory Preferences and participation.
• Fine and gross motor skills, including handwriting, drawing, cutting, pasting, construction.
• School readiness and routines.
• Self-care skills including dressing, toileting, shoe laces and personal hygiene.
• Physical skills including hand eye coordination, postural control, motor planning, self care.
